Who we are
Welcome to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. We're so glad you have found us!
For more than 285 years, St. Paul’s has been a place of worship, fellowship, and service in Shelton, Connecticut. Located on the historic Huntington Green, the parish was first organized in 1722 and granted full parish status around 1739. Construction of the first church building began in 1740, establishing a lasting presence in the community that continues today.
St. Paul’s is a faith-centered and inclusive Christian community rooted in the belief that God’s love is for everyone. We seek to create a welcoming environment where people can explore and deepen their faith, build meaningful relationships, and experience God’s presence in their lives.
Whether you are new to the church, returning after time away, or have been part of the parish for many years, you are welcome here. Together, we strive to:
Welcome and support all who enter our doors.
Encourage spiritual growth and thoughtful engagement with faith.
Foster a strong sense of community and belonging.
Serve and reach out to the Shelton community and surrounding areas through ministry, outreach, and compassion.
